Chrysler Sebring Convertible

Incomplete CAD data. A tricky exterior and interior combination shot. A reflective and shadowy background. The client’s clock ticking loudly in our ears.

Now that’s what we call a challenge.

We also call it the Chrysler Sebring client test. You see, Chrysler wanted to see what we were made of, so they only gave us part of what their Sebring is made of–the rest was up to us. Without hesitation, we took on the task and put in the late hours. We dug through any reference materials we could find, used creative interpretation, and did a little educated guessing. It may have been unorthodox, but it sure was successful.

Think you have a project that will trip us up? Bring it on.

Kia Soul Chocolat

We complete you.

Literally.

You see, since we can work from any level of CAD information on a vehicle model, we can get started on our project before your engineers are even finished with their project. For example, take the Soul test: Kia’s agency wanted to see what we could do on a project, but they were missing some important things. Like a good deal of their car.

The scanned Kia Soul model data lacked headlights as well as some other minor body parts. So, based on the photography that was provided, we used our 3D modeling skills to build the headlights by hand. When we were done, the client was impressed and we were pretty pleased with ourselves, too.

So next time you feel like there’s something missing from your project, consider that it just might be us.

Technical Illustrations

When it comes to engines and transmissions, it’s what’s inside that counts.

So to show off all the hard work that your engineers and mechanical designers have done, your best bet is to have Speedshape render out all your technical illustrations. We’ll not only get the proportions correct and give you any angle you need, but we can add a level of detail you wouldn’t believe.

So use Speedshape. And never again be afraid to show what’s on the inside.

Pontiac Vibe

We picked up on a seriously creative Vibe at Pontiac.

By any measure, Pontiac did a terrific job in turning out a really aggressive and sporty design for the Vibe, but they knew instinctively that to truly capture the imagination of their target audience, they’d need to add even more sex appeal to the advertising.

Leo Burnett and Bruno Hohmann wasted no time getting in touch.

We pulled in their data, piggybacked on their excellent creative, and took it all for a serious ride. We found the best angles to show the car, rendered them out, then added wild lighting effects to really catch the eye. The result was some seriously tasty visuals and a very satisfied client.

In fact, we’re still getting a good Vibe from how this one went down.

2009 Chevy Malibu

Too bad they don’t have an Oscar for Best Supporting Digital Agency.

Here’s why: Campbell-Ewald was doing a terrific job building the launch materials for the Chevy Malibu, but needed a little assistance in putting together the web site. Since they’d already developed a distinctive overall look and feel for the campaign, we wanted to make sure the web materials we put together married up perfectly. After a lot of lighting tests and trial and error, we were able to perfectly match the overall theme and deliver exactly what they needed.

At Speedshape, we love to stand out. But that doesn’t mean we don’t know how to blend in with the crowd.
