E*Trade "Active Trader"
E*Trade "Pre-Retirement"
E*Trade "Investment Control"

Who knew sitting in front of a computer could be considered an adrenaline sport?

When E*TRADE came to us, they simply wanted prospective users to know how exciting and rewarding online trading with E*TRADE could be. So using green screen actors and an iconic wall of monitors, we showcased a number of different exciting lifestyles that a successful trader could enjoy. We’re really happy with the way the work turned out, and the client was more than excited.

With new projects from E*TRADE already in the works, we can feel our collective heart rate starting to rise, too.

Saab AWD Tradeshow Demo

Needle in a haystack? That’s nothing compared to standing out at an automotive tradeshow.

But Saab had an ace up their sleeve: an immersive, informative demo that we put together for them. In addition to creating the renders, we produced backgrounds with a challenging array of road conditions, then showed how the Saab’s engineering overcomes anything it encounters.

The view switches from solid to transparency and back to solid to let the suspension, powertrain, and wheels show their capability, and also let the car’s bodywork look great in different driving settings. When the demo ran at the show, we were glad to see a healthy crowd continually gathered around it.

But even happier to see how much the Saab still stood out.

Speedshape has been creating smooth, engaging 360° spins for years, and few companies have more experience in this arena. A big advantage for us is that we usually create the assets as well, so we can give our clients complete control over the creative process.

2010 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150. The Swiss Army knife of vehicles.

No matter what you want to do out in the world, the F-150 is ready to lend a hand. To show all of this capability, Ford’s agency turned to us to help create a number of product feature demos. With CG cutaways and rendered footage, we showed the incredible engineering that went into improving the suspension, interior, towing capability, and even the tailgate.

The demos turned out so well that they asked us to handle all the rest of the web materials as well. We took the CG we’d already created and optimized it for stills, smooth 360° spins, and for use in our industry-leading color configurator. All of the work really illustrates what the F-150 can do, and gives the consumer some really tangible reasons to consider taking home an F-150.

We’re glad we got the call. As it turns out, we’re pretty versatile, too.

2010 Ford Mustang

The big, loud, screeching smoky burnout.

Road racers do them to celebrate wins, drag car drivers use them to heat up the tires, and everyone else does them just because they’re a blast. So you just knew we’d jump at the chance to build an incredible digital burnout.

Then Team Detroit called, looking for some web-friendly motion media to showcase the hot new Mustang. The timing was perfect, but it was also tight.

We jumped in immediately and reviewed tons of burnout videos, did a bunch of tests and simulations, and finally rendered out a dramatic, tire-searing burnout that flat-out blew away everyone on the client side.

Care to guess how we celebrated the big win?
